Estate Maintenance and Improvements

London Yard Management Company Ltd are currently carrying out extensive maintenance works across the development.

This includes works to the gardens, garages, lighting, signage, railings and posts as well as significant work to the externals of the leasehold properties along with internal communal hallways and stairwells on the riverside blocks. Much was completed in 2010 and work continues into 2011.

External works have already been completed on 65-85 Amsterdam Road, Frans Hals Court, Van Gogh Court and Vermeer Court / Rembrandt Close. 14-96 Amsterdam Road has also now been completed at the end of 2010 and the rest of the blocks are now under way and due for completion before end 2011.

For those blocks which have already undergone external repairs (65-85 Amsterdam Road, Frans Hals Court, Van Gogh Court and Vermeer Court / Rembrandt Close) internal works are now nearing completion with renovations to the internal communal hallways and stairwells. The new internal scheme is based on similar developments in the local area and are light and contemporary whilst also being hard-wearing and providing value for money. This scheme will be carried through to the other blocks as the external works are completed. Details of the materials and colour schemes being used are available upon request by contacting the managing agents.

The staffing arrangements of London Yard are also being amended to provide additional resource to maintain the internals once they have been completed.

The ongoing maintenance now follows a 25 year plan of continuous cyclical maintenance, the first draft was circulated to shareholders in Q2 2010, second in Q2 2011. It will continue to be issued to shareholders at those times, along with details of the new budget and benchmarking results.
